The Bridge / The Network

Who the introductions come from.

The Bridge draws on two circles. One I have built myself over thirty years. The other is open to application.

Tier 01 · The Inner Circle

Built by doing business, not by networking at it.

Relationships I hold personally across India, the Gulf and Europe: operators, promoters, family offices, institutional contacts, trade bodies. Most were made across a table where something was being decided. That is why the calls get returned.

This circle is not listed and will not be. That it is not a directory is the whole of its value.

tier 02 - applied, assessed, kept small tier 01 - held personally

Tier 02 · The Trusted Partner Network

Open to application. Kept small on purpose.

Firms and individuals who apply, are assessed, and are brought in as counterparts for specific corridors and sectors. Being in the network means being considered whenever a client's target map crosses your territory. You get the same preparation on your side of the introduction as they get on theirs.

Worth applying if you are

  • An advisor or consultancy with real operating presence in one of the corridors.
  • A distributor, manufacturer or importer with genuine capacity and a track record of taking on cross-border partners.
  • A professional firm - legal, tax, trade finance, logistics - that has executed cross-border, not only advised on it.
  • An institutional or trade-body contact whose remit is the corridor itself.

What gets assessed

  • Operating history, not the brochure.
  • Where you have executed, and what came of it.
  • Who you can reach, and with what authority.
  • Whether you are willing to be prepared before a conversation rather than handed a name.

Apply

Write, and say four things.

Who you are. Which corridor. What you have executed there. What you are looking for.

Applications are read personally. The network stays small on purpose: every name in it is one I would put my own client in front of.
